Comfortable room, convenient location, it was super easy to get to the rail station and main shopping area from here, along with free Wi-Fi in rooms and air conditioning options available.

The Twin Room with Shared Bathroom felt cramped with poorly designed shower space and no hooks for towels. Noise from nearby rooms and bathrooms can interrupt sleep, especially for those working night shifts. The extractor fan is inconveniently noisy, giving you a bit of a riddle to solve in finding the switch. the check-in process, reliant on mobile phones and lack of reception, could leave some feeling a bit stranded at times.

I truly appreciated the short walk of about 1.5 km to the stunning York Museum Gardens and the delightful experience of exploring York's Chocolate Story, which made my weekend even more enjoyable as I wandered through the charming streets nearby. however, the parking situation was a bit tricky since it depended on finding a space around the area.

My stay at Diamonds in York offered a delightful experience filled with comfort. The staff, although hard to reach initially, provided excellent service during my time. The room was clean and cozy, making it an ideal base for exploring York’s culinary delights. I hope the check-in process improves next time.
